Camarines Sur is also the region's principal trans-shipment point with its ports: Lagonoy International, Calabanga National, Minalabac Provincial, and the Balatan Regional Port. Naga City also has its own domestic airport which hopes to serve international flights in the near future. Naga Airport serves as Bicol's gateway to Manila and the Visayas. The planning of the Naga City International Airport (locally known as Corporal Elias Angeles International Airport and Bicol International Airport) is very crucial due to low fundings. It was to serve the whole province and region as a gateway to the Philippines.
